When it is a 100% is it 100% bright, but at 97% it is pretty dark, and 60% it is bright again. When I go through the power management to dim the screen and move the slider the brightness of the screen has nothing to do with the position of the slider. I'm having issues with a couple things on my new ASUS 1001p after fixing the wireless with the tips from above:įirst: When I try to dim the screen with the dim screen / brighten screen buttons I don't get a smooth dimming of brightening but it seems to randomly jump from bright to dark. But i cannot activate it (only the wired connections). I configured an wireless connection through the NetworkManager. in "ifconfig" the wireless controller doesn't show up. i installed the xp drivers with ndiswrapper, but i just cant get it working. quess im missing the line "driver in use: ndiswrapper".
